[EK!] productions was set up by Filmmaker & Choreographer Bex Phillips, a Devon-based filmmaker, choreographer and unashamed horror nerd with a love for the weird & wonderful.

[EK!]Productions began life as a multi-media dance company called Eklectika! Dance by Design. In 2016 the company evolved into an independent film production company, which has so far produced music video, experimental dance film, animation & narrative short films, all of which are touched with a brush of darkness. Bex has also creates cross-platform artwork under the monica [EK!].

Bex hosts a monthly Film Club and film screenings for Devon-based filmmakers at her local taproom, as well as writing film reviews and articles for Devon & Cornwall Film, The PRSD and Arts Cultre Mag. She enjoys reading about the esoteric, folklore and the supernatural.

When Bex isn’t sat in a dark room getting her horror film fix, She can be found scrambling across the moors wielding her camera, or taking a trip in her trusty old campervan Yoshi.
